He is a baritone of the world-wide renown. Soloist of the Silesian Opera, a graduate of the Academy of Music in Kraków. He is a laureate of prestigious vocal competitions inter alia in Gütersloch (Neue Stimmen), Vienna (Belvedere), Munich (Grand Prix of the ARD Contest). He performs on the most famous world opera stages incl. in New York (the Metropolitan Opera), Milan (La Scala), Vienna (Wiener Staatsoper), Paris (Opéra Bastille), Brussels (La Monnaie), Amsterdam, Barcelona (Gran Teatre del Liceu), Los Angeles, Houston, Tokyo, Saint Petersburg, Berlin (Komische Oper, Staatsoper, Deutsche Oper), Munich, Hamburg, Leipzig, Cologne, Frankfurt, Zurich, Geneva, Lyon, Verona, and during Glyndebourne and Orange festivals.
He has cooperated with numerous exquisite conductors, including Christian Thielemann, Colin Davis, Roger Norrington, Riccardo Chailly, Gary Bertini, Pinchas Steinberg, Giuseppe Sinopoli, Simone Young, Helmuth Rilling, Kazushi Ono, Stefan Soltész, Vladimir Fedoseyev, Vladimir Jurowski, Yakov Kreizberg, Riccardo Muti, Carlo Rizzi, Zubin Mehta, Valery Gergiev, Lorin Maazel, Daniel Barenboim, Semyon Bychkov.
Among his many artistic endeavours one needs to point out to his debut in La Scala under the baton of Riccardo Muti and numerous concerts during Maggio Musicale Fiorentino under the baton of Zubin Mehta. In 2007 he debuted in the Metropolitan Opera and Avery Fisher Hall. It is worth mentioning his debut in Covent Garden in 2008. In 2010 he was invited by Daniel Barenboim to take part in the celebration of the 60-years of artistic work of the conductor and 100th anniversary of Teatro Colon in Buenos Aires and the 200 years of independence of the Republic of Chile.
In 2013 he recorded Arias, which in April 2014 was awarded the Fryderyk Prize in the category of “Record of the year - choir, oratorio and opera music”. In February 2015 he received the German honorary title of „Kammersänger” awarded to exquisite and distinguished opera singers.
In February 2015, he received the honorary German title of Kammersänger, awarded to outstanding and distinguished opera singers. This prestigious, elite distinction is very rarely granted and only by the highest authorities. This honor dates back to feudal times when kings and princes bestowed it on particularly talented favorite artists performing at their courts.
In seasons 2017/2019 the artist was busy with numerous projects involving mostly the presentation of oeuvre of R. Strauss and R. Wagner. In January 2019 he performed in the National Opera in Warsaw in Rigoletto by G. Verdi. On 15th June 2019 the audience will have a chance to admire his voice in Madama Butterfly by G. Pucicini.
